I see the reason why she was saved, is through faith in God and kept herself positive, by realizing negativity but at the same time make friend with enemy and stay positive as much as she can, she did not like or accept negative energies even when in the tunnel, and it it when she was saved. That is the key, i call it faithful , and through that, she was saved.

When you are negative, know that, inside you are already defeated and it will reflect in the outside circumstances. May wisdom , the law of the universe is realized by all , and by that , all beings consciously creating their life in the purity and happiness of God/Heaven. When the light of Heaven/ positivity shine, evil / negativity cannot exist. That is the key of life/ Heaven. Love God and Love all.
