Satan loves to drain others' material and spiritual/emotional resources. On the other hand, the quality of a true spiritual teacher is to help others achieve happiness/spiritual success (material success is just a side effect of practicing the Truth correctly), enabling them to increase their blessings and wisdom. One should not associate with negative, Satanic influences, as their current poverty/suffering/illness is a consequence they must bear. Helping them with materials is acceptable, but it is not acceptable to let them drain your spiritual/emotional resources. It's best to stay away from them, as separation from negativity is inevitable anyway, as we move toward the New Heaven. Save yourself first; the world doesn't need another person being dragged into the abyss of negativity. Love God, Truth, and the Light Truth.
