The only one who Lucifer/ Demons can not defeat is God

The only one who Lucifer/ Demons can not defeat is God. Lucifer/Demons can defeat all realms up to the Brahman ( the highest realm of heaven , you may have different name of the same realm depending on your Religion's language). Demons defeat you starting from thoughts of fear, anger, delusion, boredom, greed... Only when you are connected with that formless purity of God( i call this , Nirvana), you are untouched by all devils and circumstances. From that place, take action with wisdom that is good for your life now and the future. The gate of heaven is closed or open to you is up to your mastery in the inner world and action to the outer world. Love you all.
