Enlightenment does not happen in comfort and convenience . Look at example of Jesus, Buddha, Muhammad, Moses... enlightenment/ final connectedness with God happens when they were in wilderness and facing themselves. Human words can not even express the beauty of following my heart and calling. When it is most convenience, i find miracles, blessings, connectedness, and even deeper enlightenment. The current law is still " no pain, no gain" . Look at life, every gain comes with pain / discipline. This law will soon be no more when the new heaven come, no more trace of pain to experience gain.
